So many of you enjoyed the picture demonstrations on the workout last week. I’ll aim to make them more user friendly in the future, too! Today I’m back with a cardio workout featuring a plyo box. It’s okay if you don’t have one! You can easily sub in a chair or step for most of these.
For this workout, you will complete 3 rounds total. The first round will be 30 reps of each exercise. Take a one minute break before repeating, and completing 20 reps of each exercise. Break again for one minute and repeat one more time for 10 reps.
Let’s chat exercises!
Box Jumps: Begin with both feet on the ground. Hop onto the box with both feet together before jumping back down.
Squat and Press: You will squat down until your butt brushes the box and then press up. This ensures you are getting low.
Burpee Box Jump Overs: You will begin on one side and perform a burpee: squat down, jump legs back to plank, jump legs to squat position, and then jump onto the box. Jump down on the other side, turn around, and perform burpee on that side. Each side counts as one burpee!
Split Leg Lunges: With one foot on the box, perform a lunge, holding weights if you’d like. Complete 15 and then switch legs.
Jump Squat with a Tap: You will perform a jump squat and as you land, you have to make sure your butt brushes the box before jumping back up.
Rep Fitness reached out offering to send me some equipment. I chose the slam ball I featured last week, and I chose the plyo box with dimensions 16” x 20” x 24”. That means I have three different heights to work with. This height seen above in the photos was 16”, but I’m eager to try again with 20”. They have boxes with multiple different heights so you can find one that fits your preference!
The box is so sturdy. It comes in pieces that slide together and then you screw them in to be sure. There’s a middle support column on the inside as well. It’s legit never coming apart unless I try my hardest to get it apart! It’s such a fun addition to the workout! Thanks Rep Fitness for providing me with a plyo box in exchange for a workout!
Make sure you pin it for the future!

I love making workouts that are short and to the point. I don’t have time to spend an hour working out, and you don’t have to!
