Hey all! I hope if you are in the freezing weather you are keeping warm.
Aaron’s been waking up earlier for work so he gets done earlier, and it’s working out in my favor. He is now getting up at the time I wake up if I want to run. The decision to wake up was quite easy since I was awake before either of our alarms went off. I love having that extra couple minutes to see Aaron in the morning too.
I had no distance in mind, so I just started my run. I read some blogs, watched some TV, saw that I had a 2 hour delay, and kept going. My legs felt great, the time was flying, and I was very happy I made the decision to get up.
Sometimes we just need to make that decision. I absolutely could have slept through our alarms, went back to bed, and woken up much later since we had a delay. Would my day have gone as great? Probably not. Those endorphins are amazing, I’ll tell ya!
I finished the run with 6 miles. I’m not sure what made the time go by so fast, but it did. My point is… wake up and get your workout in tomorrow
I headed off to work shortly after. The kids are much more crazy when we have delays! I almost wish we didn’t have delays because the day seems longer with them! haha
Mmm. This is my new favorite lunch. I cut up a bunch of romaine, through in peppers,, some cheese, green and red onions, along with chicken. Toss it with hot sauce and ranch and it’s a delicious buffalo chicken salad!
Minus the French Fries- we had this for dinner on Wednesday, too, with fries
It carried me through the afternoon before coming home and eating a spoonful of Cookie Butter
I finished off the night heading to Dick’s Sporting Goods for a VIP party as part of the Pittsburgh Marathon. I will be sure to share in the next few days!

Aaron’s family is coming over tonight to hang out, tomorrow night I’m going to my cousins for our family game night.
Pittsburgh half marathon is my next race. More on that later!
I always have my iPad with me on the treadmill, and I’m pretty good at reading blogs, scrolling Facebook, Instagram, and twitter while running.
The kids will have delays but we don’t usually. If it’s snowing, we have to get there whenever we can safely, but if it’s a delay for cold weather, we report at normal time.
