Hey, everyone! How was your weekend? Mine was one where I just ended it feeling refreshed. Not in a sense that my house is clean or food is prepped for the week, but overall, refreshed.
After a few days where I could hardly move, my neck/back is about 95% better (seriously so crazy how it was totally random!), some other things that were weighing heavily on me seem to be on better terms, and I got a new phone yesterday. You may or may not remember but last September, my 6s went for a nose dive in the washing machine. A had just learned how to put things in larger containers, and when I wasn’t watching, she threw my phone in the wash basket. Oops! I’ve totally made it work with an old 5, but going from nice pictures to the crappiest on the slowest phone was hard. Thankfully after a few months of savings, I was able to get a new 6s! Woo! It’s so fast compared to my old one and the pictures are much better. Thanks for hanging in there with my awful ones the past few months!
But, the rest of my weekend was pretty awesome, so here’s a recap!
I was feeling much better and fit in a 3 mile run! We went out to Whole Foods for 20% canned beer, samples, and then hit up Chipotle for dinner. So good! Annabelle went to bed and Aaron and I watched a movie while hanging out on the couch.
During the week, I always get Annabelle up and we go straight to the living room. She drinks her milk and then we play. Well, the weekends are extra special because I get her out of bed, but she comes to our bed and we snuggle, turn on Disney, and drink her milk. It’s just a nice, slow way to ease into the weekend. But, anyway, after we snuggled, I did an arm workout, we made muffins, and returned to Lowe’s.
My mom and I headed to Costco last week, and they had this super soft rug for a great deal. So after A’s nap, we went to Costco to check it out and we ended up buying it. It is so soft and Annabelle has had a smile on her face everytime she steps on it. I ended up going through all of Annabelle’s clothes when we got home, picking out ones that were gender neutral. While Aaron watched a documentary, I backed up my phone and uploaded thousands of pictures. What a job!
After breakfast, I went to the grocery store, we hung out, A napped, and we went over my in-laws for lunch. We played there all afternoon before A napped again and I went to get my new phone! Aaron had a hockey game, I fixed my phone, and then I caught up on the last episode on This is Us.
