This weekend was full of plans, and I loved every second!
After cleaning the house, and doing a little bit of shopping, Aaron and I headed out for his hockey game. He plays roller hockey with his friends, and I have never gone, as most are in the middle of the afternoon on Sundays. With it being a Friday night game, I wanted to see him play! We had to get there early for him to warm up, and the place I get my hair cut (I go to Great Clips!) is up the road, so I swung by for a quick trim. I needed my bangs cut, and just a little taken off, and she did a great job!
Aaron’s game was fun to watch, too. He played great, and I’m thinking I may even go to more of them, now.
We went to Panera, but neither of us took pictures of our food. Oops! It was so fun to hear about everything going on in her life (and wedding planning!!) and just chat. As always, the time flew by!
This day was all about dashing places. I no sooner got home, and we headed out to our friends for a house warming cookout. Before we could stop there, we made a quick stop at my cousins who lives nearby to pick up a swing for Jenn. Of course, we stayed and chatted a bit, but then we were off to Britt and Tim’s. Their house is beautiful. I love all the extra touches she put in the rooms! I wish I snapped some pictures, but I didn’t.
I woke up not feeling the best, so we declared it a stay in bed kind of morning. I ended up making us bacon and pancakes and crawled back in bed for a few hours. It was a perfect start to our day.
A little bit later, I got in a 3 mile run and did some yoga before making dessert and heading to my uncle’s for another cookout!
Of course, Madison was there and even cuter than the last time I saw her!
Since I’ve seen her, I didn’t hold her much, but I enjoyed the snuggles while I had her!
And Sunday night consisted of finishing up some work and prepping for the week ahead!
Tell me what you did this weekend!
What’s your favorite fast food (aka not sit down and order from a waiter) restaurant?
I think mine might be Panera. Though it costs as much, or more, than a sit down places sometimes, I love that they offer healthy choices.
Thanks, Diva, for hosting!
