Hi friends! Happy Friday! I’ve been meaning to sit and write for a few days, but it’s been one of those never on top of things weeks. As soon as I felt ahead, I was behind in some other way. Some weeks are like that. Some weeks I have my A-game on. But each week is so fun with my little family.
Anyway, wanted to chat about some things I’m currently up to!
Current Workouts this week:
I got in a 5 mile run on Wednesday, Monday I ran 3 miles, Tuesday was this 90-60-45 workout but did 60-45-45 instead. Yesterday I did this Upper Body with Cardio Blast workout. They all were great and I loved how they made me feel! I’m excited to do this Plyo Box workout again this weekend.
After Julie posted about this devotional months ago, I decided to order it. I would love to know exactly how to study the Bible, but I’m just not there yet. I need a structure and this has been so great. It focuses on different passages each week, but the same ones throughout the week, so it’s 5 days of the same ones. I love that I don’t just move on after reading once and that it goes in depth on them. Anyway, I’ve been really enjoying it.
I’m also reading magazines if I have time.
For my children to get better. I’ve been to the doctor 4 times in 3 weeks, with 2 of those visits being for both kids. If it’s not one thing, it’s another. Nolan has an ear infection, but is finally getting over it. After being at the doctor Tuesday to check that, he developed a fever and has had one since then. Yesterday he pooped 6 times in 5 hours… I’m going to go ahead and assume it’s some bug. They checked him out before the fever came on and nothing was wrong, so I haven’t taken him back. I will tomorrow if things don’t improve, but seriously, the cough/cold/ear infection/crappy sickness needs to leave my house!
But, in positive news, we had a cardiology appt for Nolan on Wednesday and all is good! With Aaron’s heart condition, we had to get him checked but all is good! Now for another good check up with A next month!
Nothing good for me, ugh. I’m not sure where the meal planning went, but the weeks have just been running together and the days are a blur. We’ve been having ravioli, chicken, leftovers, random freezer staples. I need to get on my A-game.
The Holidays, and BLACK FRIDAY! I love deals so Black Friday is my jam. Seriously, I’ve been stalking the ads for weeks now. There’s not too much I need this year, but I can’t wait to go shopping and see all that I can find, regardless of need.
I also love the holidays and the holiday spirit. I’m ready to kick off all the fun next week with Thanksgiving!
These kids. They are hard. They leave me questioning myself all day long, and wondering if I’m doing things right. But then Annabelle says “Excuse me,” or I come home from errands and she says “hi mom, miss you,” or she runs up and tackles me with her biggest hug. Then there’s Nolan who grins as large as can be when he sees his sister. I watch him try to hold her hand. I hear his loud giggles when Aaron comes home and he sees him. These two just keep me going and make me a better person. I learn so much from them daily, and can’t imagine life without them. Seriously, what did I do with all my time!.
Getting out my Christmas decorations! I know it’s early, but I usually decorate the weekend before Thanksgiving, just because the weekend after is typically very busy. But, the Christmas stuff is all pushed to the back of the attic and I don’t want to deal with it, ha! I also feel like I just put up Fall decor, even tough it was a while ago. Things will be up soon!
But with that… I’m currently going to watch Grey’s Anatomy and the Steeler game! Have a great day and weekend everyone.
