My weekend was full of love! I had two bridal showers to attend for two of my best friends! It was truly an amazing weekend!
Emily’s Bridal Shower:
Emily and I have been friends for many years. What started as a complete coincidence of having the same friend, became a life long friendship. She’s lived in Virginia and Florida, and most recently moved back to Pittsburgh, but our friendship continued. We may not talk every day, or get together every week, but our friendship remains. I was looking forward to her bridal shower for so long! I knew it would be an amazing day full of adorable touches and I was definitely right.
Her shower had mason jars and chalkboard signs all over (LOVE this!) and had a brunch theme. The food was amazing. From a fruit and yogurt bar, to a donut and bagel bar, to a make your own waffle bar. No detail was forgotten. Here are pictures of her amazing day.
Nikki’s Bridal Shower:
Unfortunately, I also had another bridal shower the same day! Nikki was my college roommate and our friendship has remained. We are both so into fitness, and she’s a big runner like me (doing her first half this Sunday! Wish her luck!). She’s always been there for me when I need it, and vice versa. Her wedding has been one I’ve been waiting for for over two years! It’s going to be just as beautiful as her shower was! My other friend, Kayla, is her maid of honor and did such a remarkable job at planning it all! Hers was complete with mason jar touches, pictures showing their love, and loves of sparkles! The hashtag #LetLoveSparkle says it all!
Between these two showers, there were more bridal shower ideas floating around than anything! The rest of the weekend included 10 yards of mulch delivered and put out in our yard while I worked at the school for an event. I couldn’t be around it and do it, which I did feel bad about, but totally loved having the family that would come over and help!
