Let’s talk over some tea, shall we?
If we were having tea… I would talk to you about the Olympics. I love the Olympics. I cannot wait for them to come on. However, I’m really having issues with them. I’m upset that they would ever pick a location that doesn’t have snow for the Winter Olympics. I feel bad for the athletes who have to work with those conditions that they aren’t used to. I am also, quite frankly, really worried about all of the athletes, but mostly the U.S. I told Aaron last night; as much as I am excited for them, I can’t wait until they are over and everyone safe. Anyone else feel the same way? After all these years of hard work to get to the Olympics, and many American athletes are telling their families not to go so they don’t have to worry about them. Can you imagine?
If we were having tea… I would show you this picture, and ask for help.. haha
That’s on top of our cabinets.. that little rascal! He hasn’t jumped on our counters since we first got him and he learned. Lately, he’s been testing the waters, and I found him up here the other day! I couldn’t even get him down, ha. I mean, though, it’s quite hysterical. lol
If we were having tea… I would tell you that Aaron took down our fence on the top of our yard, and now the Deer have been loving our yard. Darn you deer.. I don’t like you!
Hard to see but there’s a deer in the lower part of our yard. I was way too cold to even step foot outside so a picture through the door works.. haha
If we were having tea…I’d tell you our temps are low and just getting lower into next week. Oh summer…
If we were having tea…I’d tell you I have been all about the sweets lately, and really need to quit. Thing is.. I like them too much! Ha I keep hoping I’ll get over that sweet craving, but for now, cookies are my best friend. Oops!
If we were having tea… I’d share with you one of our favorite menu items.
I’ve gotten comments about how we make them, so here goes!
I use the Tyson Chicken, but feel free to use whatever chicken you’d like!
Cook the chicken thoroughly. On a FlatOut (or any tortilla), place the chicken down, with spinach or romaine, or both (that’s what we do) on top. Then, cut up green onions and put on, followed with your choose of cheese (I use a combo of mozzarella and cheddar—I like cheese), and topped with Hot Sauce, and Ranch. All ingredients are up to your preference and of course can be added to. I end up being too lazy to cut up peppers, but those would be a good addition as well.
Once you have made your wrap, on a George Forman Grill (or skillet!), place the wraps to cook some more. This melts all the cheese, heats everything up, and provides a nice crisp tortilla. I leave them on there for probably 4-5 minutes, until it all looks cooked and melted. We.love.them. Hope you enjoy!
If we were having tea…I’d tell you to have a great weekend, and tell me what you’d talk about over some tea!
