I went through the entire day yesterday thinking it was Tuesday. Needless to say, I bet this week will go slow! I think it has to do with being in the same kindergarten class Friday and Monday, and them giving me a run for my money. Kindergarten is a whirlwind, and I feel like the day is over before I know it, which is always a good thing!
I was a bit sore from my run on Sunday, so I did Yoga for Runners before work, but ran out of time for my upper body. When I got home yesterday, all I wanted was an upper body workout that worked me to the max. I didn’t want to focus on one area, but wanted to incorporate them all.
I decided to work it in a circuit format, but focus only on one area for each set. It left my arms burning by the middle, and they felt like Jell-O by the time I was done! I call that a success
Start with a warm up because this does focus solely on your arms. Make sure you stretch after, too, so you can prevent some soreness. I chose weight knowing that I had to make it through the entire workout, so I didn’t want to crush biceps, and have to make it all the way to my back. I highly suggest doing the same, or you will burn out faster.
