I woke up yesterday for a workout in my living room, which is a huge improvement in recent weeks. The good ‘ol husband is a night owl, and going to bed when he isn’t kind of sucks, ha. So, I’ve stayed up later than I wanted to, and just can’t wake up. Sunday night I decided I would wake up early to get done with half of my workout before my run in the afternoon. Truthfully, I just knew I wouldn’t want to workout for an hour after school because Benny would look too cute and innocent and would want to play. It turned out that this was indeed true.
Well, I did it. I woke up feeling great (actually I was up for about an hour before my alarm tossing and turning), and got in a great workout! The day turned out to be quite gloomy, and chilly, and a run in the afternoon (3 easy miles) just wasn’t feeling like my favorite thing to do. In fact, I didn’t want to at all, and after my run on Saturday where my legs were sore the entire time, I didn’t mind taking a day off. But, I still wanted to do something after school.
Enter: A new workout. I spent my planning period slacking being productive on the workout front, and created a new one. I still wanted to get some major calorie burn, but knew I needed to mix things up or I would be bored. Luckily, I was excited for this workout the rest of the day.
For this workout, you work for 50 seconds, and rest for 10 before moving on to the next exercise. There are three circuits, and do each one twice before moving on. The time flies by, and leaves you feeling amazing, I swear!
And yes, I will be using Halloween decorations from PicMonkey until Halloween is over! Haha
Here are some links to exercises:
As always, please let me know any feedback, or if you do it! I love when I see you have tried my workouts!
Can’t forget Tuesday’s are Treat Yourself Tuesday, can we?
I didn’t actually have anything planned, but I ended up at Walmart, and, well, I can’t leave there without some things for myself!
My gram gave us this adorable Halloween candy holder, so I needed to fill it up! I am not much of a candy person, and can usually resist it. However, the Milky Ways looked too delicious to pass up! Aaron’s favorite candy is Reese’s cups, so I got him some of those, and bought Pumpkin Spice Hershey Kisses! Aaron loved them, and I’m iffy. I’d rather eat a Milky Way
One of our candles burnt all the way down, so instead of getting another plain pumpkin one, I went for Apple Pumpkin! Mmm. I also treated myself to a night on the couch with both of my boys watching Breaking Bad. Yes, we started it from Season 1 (no spoilers, please!) and are already hooked!
