Happy Wednesday! Did you know it was National Runner’s Day? Try to get some running in today! Add it to a workout, make it your workout, run to calm your nerves, run to relax, just run!
My day started out nice and early yesterday morning. I only had a half day sub job (still subbing on days I don’t nanny until schools are out) but figured I would get my workout in! Until I felt outside. For some reason, June feels it can go back and forth with whether like it is no ones business! It was 41 degrees, which is just too cold to me. I thought about the treadmill, but would much rather run outside, so I chose to hold off until after school and get in a 5 mile run when it was supposed to be in the 60s (my ideal weather).Except it was 77 and sunny the entire way. Live and learn. I did manage to do a 5 minute warm up on the elliptical, and then complete this core circuit twice in the morning. Holy moly, I forgot about it until this girl mentioned it the other day, and it will leave you in some pain! Awesome pain, mind you!
I was starving after that little workout so I made some turkey bacon, cheesy and salsa eggs, and 2 pieces of toast topped with cinnamon. Delicious.
I have quite a few things I am aiming to get done this week, one being thank you cards for my shower on Sunday! I managed to get myself organized and label each envelope so when I write them, it is an easier process! I also hole punched all of my cards and put them on a ring to keep them I liked the idea of saving the cards, and might make it a bow when I am done using the cards (we wrote the gifts on the back of the card so I knew who it was from!) to make it look a little cuter. For now, though, I love having them all together!
Another area I am working on is getting a head start on organizing my room. There are things I am not using right now, but would like to take to my new house, so I’m thinking about starting to pack those up!
Funny thought I had the other day… I was thinking how many people have graciously offered to help us move, and I was going through things to take. I thought how my stuff would make its way over gradually (because I am not moving in until after the wedding) and how Aaron doesn’t have too much from his house, so I thought that we wouldn’t need too many people. Then, I remembered our basement, and our attic, and the storage. Um, yeah, who else wants to help?! I’m not so sure we have enough, haha. We also have a couch and chair, soon to be a mattress, etc. After Aaron laughed at my crazy thought, we agreed it will be an entire day’s work to get us moved! It will totally be worth it, but still funny to think I didn’t believe we needed everyone’s help!
I finished off the night watching “Extreme Weight Loss” on the couch. I love seeing people reach their goals! It makes me so happy to see people take control of their lives again.
I’ll leave you with a picture of Myste just hanging out in our yard.. cute little thing
Have you watched “Extreme Weight Loss” before? What are your thoughts?
What is your typical breakfast? Do you switch it up everyday?
How far did YOU run today!
