Hello everyone! I hope you are all feeling more rested than I am this morning. This weekend was a whirlwind, but I loved every second of it. If you celebrated Easter, I do hope you had a good one.
I didn’t end up taking very many pictures- spent more time living in the moment, but here’s a bit of what I was up to.
After breakfast with my old roommates, a hair cut, and a stop at my mom’s for her birthday, I spent the rest of the day just relaxing. It was so beautiful outside! A day that was supposed to be a wash out, but turned absolutely beautiful.
Later that night, Aaron’s siblings came over and we watched The Passion of the Christ. I haven’t seen it since it first came out, and my gosh, if you’ve never seen it, I highly suggest watching it. You can read the story of Jesus being crucified, but it’s 100% different to see all he went through.
I woke up early and decided to suck up the 20 degree weather, and go to the park for my long run (8 miles). I had snow, hail, and 15-20 mph winds, but I did it!
I may have also bribed myself with a Dunkin Donuts Chai Tea Latte and Brueggers Bagel, haha. Sometimes, you gotta do what ya gotta do!
Later on, we went to our friend’s party and then over to my aunt’s for an Easter celebration. We did some celebrating with my dad’s family until late in the night.
We went to the early service at church and then home for some homemade Cinnamon Rolls. Mmm, they were so good. I had two
We then started our Easter celebration at my in laws.
My new nephew was there and he is just adorable.
We headed to my grandma’s a little bit later and had a dinner, and lots of great times catching up.
Though I was totally exhausted by the end of the weekend, it was a blast. I’m so lucky our family lives so close!
