Hey everyone! How was your weekend? Mine was a perfect mix of fun and relaxation. It was the busiest weekend I’ve had in a while, but that was needed since we were snowed in again!
Let’s start on Friday! I had a girl’s night with my mom’s family. It was supposed to be last weekend, but was postponed due to the snow. It was a bit rushed after work getting ready, but I really enjoyed it! I didn’t snap too many pictures, but there were lots of food! We had some cheese pizza in case people came from work and were hungry, cheese and crackers, chips and dip, some jalapeno popper dip, broccoli parmesan dip, and some desserts. There was plenty to eat!
Saturday morning I was up bright and early. I’ve been having a lot of trouble sleeping lately, just being up a lot throughout the night and not being able to sleep in. Of course Saturday morning was another instance of that. I laid in bed for a while, but then made Aaron get up so we could head to Costco and Hobby Lobby.
Of course Costco sucked us in! Ha. This was our favorite purchase by far!
You all know how much we love Deep Creek. Well, we are typically all holding on to each other trying to stay together while on our rafts. This was the perfect solution! It is 12 ft long and we can all hang out on it, and it holds drinks. I am SO excited!
Bridget stopped over in the afternoon to catch up, and after a quick nap, I got in a workout.
I had been putting it off all day, and originally wanted to run, but then really didn’t want to! ha I spent time on the elliptical and then a circuit workout.
Saturday night I spent with my family at T.G.I.Fridays. We went for the all you can eat apps!
I headed straight to the Clubhouse to meet up with my friends and catch up after. I had no room for food or drinks, but it was still fun to catch up!
Sunday morning I woke up early, again, and decided to get in my treadmill run for the weekend. I did 6 miles on the treadmill. It wasn’t bad, but not that fun either, ha!
It had snowed a lot, so we skipped church in favor of watching the service online, instead.
The rest of Sunday included some grocery shopping, magazine time, catching up on shows, and just relaxing while Aaron had a hockey game. It was perfect!
And now, let’s tackle another week!
