Can you believe it’s December! I cannot, but only 24 days until Christmas It’s definitely my favorite holiday and can’t wait to get in the spirit. We have a lot of Christmas parties going on, starting this coming weekend! Thrilled about them all, but until then, let’s get back to the post..
Sunday: Ham Bar-B-Q leftovers
Monday: Meatball sandwiches
Tuesday: Fiesta Chicken
Wednesday: Tomato Basil Soup (still not completely sure how to make this!)
Thursday: Chicken Wraps
Friday: Pizza, I believe, or leftovers
Saturday: Christmas party!
Sunday: My uncle’s Christmas party
I have to say, I am glad I’m back to meal planning. Last week I decided to just use up what was in our house, but it didn’t go so well. Every night we were just feeling blah about anything, so our meals definitely slacked. I’m ready to get back to healthy meals for dinner!
I had a great week fitness wise!
Sunday: Rest Day
Monday: Full Body Tabata and 3.4 Mile Run
Wednesday: Cardio video from T25. My brother gave me the T25 program, and I kind of wanted my mom to start doing it. She was over, so I decided to do one of the programs so she could see what it was like, and how there are modifications for each move. The concept is a 25 minute workout, 5 days a week. On Friday’s he likes you to do double, or do one on the weekend. The 25 minutes are hard, but I worked up a great sweat. I’m not committing to just doing that program, but I am going to start adding in those workouts a couple days a week for cardio.
Thursday: 5 mile run
Friday: 4 Mile HIIT run. Aaron wanted to go running (I was shocked!), so of course I went with him! Funny I wasn’t sure I was planning on working out Friday, but I did! While he went off for 3 miles, I did a 5 minute warm up, then intervals of 45 second sprint, 1 minute jog, and finished with 1 mile cool down.
Saturday: I did the Speed 1.0 and Ab Interval videos from T25. Definitely felt it after that, and realized my core could use some more work
Are your abs in as great of shape as in the summer?
Ha, I know mine aren’t! Not wearing a bathing suit everyday definitely does that…
Have you heard of T25, or done any of the other programs like it (Insanity, P90x, etc..)?
I did P90x my Junior year of college, and it was perfect because I could do it in my apartment during the winter months when walking the mile to the gym was not desiring, ha. I did Insanity last year from the end of October to December 23. I had amazing results with both of these programs! And no, I didn’t follow their meal plan. I took into consideration how much food they did tell me to eat, but didn’t follow anything hardcore. I would recommend any of these programs!
