Fourth of July was nothing short of amazing. I worked all week putting finishing touches on everything, trying to make everything look spectacular and ready for the holiday. From red, white, and blue decorations to red, white, and blue food; I wanted it to be perfect. Everyone made comments expressing how much they enjoyed all the little touches, which made all the time completely worth it. We were so thankful the deck was done, and all of our guests saw the hard work Aaron put into it, and couldn’t get over the fact he did it all himself.
My outfit. Top, scarf, and earrings were from Forever 21.
We had 52 people come to our party, which was a mix of family and friends. Our main dinner was hamburgers and hot dogs, thanks to the grill we received for our birthday, potato salad, pasta salad, and taco salad. We had tons of appetizers, including taco dip, reuban dip, and pretzels and beer cheese thanks to a lot of people bringing stuff, but almost everything went!
The fireworks were, again, shot off behind our house, which a lot of people didn’t believe when I told them, but were pleasantly surprised. The fireworks was about 25 minutes long, and had everyone oooh-ing and aaah-ing. Games were played throughout the night, friends hung out; it was a fun night had by all. Here are picture highlights from the night.
And because I love pictures, I made all of our friends get in for one, and our family get in for another!
Already looking forward to next year!
