Hey hey! How many of you have already watched some of the Olympics like I did? Of course, I watched Grey’s (guilty pleasure!) but then I turned on the Olympics. The official opening ceremony is tonight, but for some reason some start before hand. This week has passed by way quicker than last, which I am so thankful for!

My kids have been sick all week. UGH! I hate winter, lol. A is mostly better but has a slight cough. She has some good days and some stuffy moments, but for the most part she recovered. Nolan got sick on Monday and he’s sadly gone downhill. I took him to the doctor yesterday because I was convinced he had an ear infection, but alas, he didn’t. I mean, that’s good, but at the same time, it would have explained his fussiness! Enough complaining. My kids are far healthier than a lot of other ones out there, and for that I am grateful.
We’ve had fun with a few different indoor activities this week. I’m going to share one next week that has to do with sorting, but we’ve also played with Play-doh, did some baking, and hung out trying to not get cabin fever. Annabelle gave her babies a bath (can get messy with water everywhere, BUT WHO CARES!), and we even went in the tent all three of us for way too long in a small confined space, lol.
We officially switched carseats, and Nolan looks like such a big boy in his. He has a little fleece jacket, and now needs gloves too because he’s not under a blanket. Gahh he looks so big! He’s loving books too these days, which is way earlier than A ever cared about them. I LOVE it!
I found Damn Delicious’s recipes about a month ago and they are amazing. I am loving all of her one pot meals! We made Chicken Bacon Ranch Pasta the other night, and it was amazing. It’s probably our new favorite meal.
I’m still loving cozy sweaters for work. It was a cold 59 degrees IN THE OFFICE when I got there so I was happy to have a warm scarf and sweater. Side note: Should I cut my bangs or let them grow out?
I’ve also worked out a bunch this week. I found a few new to me workouts, while also repeating some of my own like this one, and also did some running. I ran 5 miles on Wednesday, with 3 of them being when the kids were awake and playing downstairs. I was also shocked that it worked. It had been a tough day.. well just the morning… and I was about to lose my mind before 11 am. I decided anything was better than nothing, so I hopped on and they surprisingly played and entertained each other for 3 miles. I then did 2 about an hour later at nap time. Win win! Nolan’s also getting in on the workouts these days
And just because they’re cute, even when they’re driving me bonkers stuck in our small house all the time lately….
Have a great weekend! Aaron and I are off to the Escape room tomorrow with my brother and SIL. The kids are sleeping over my parents and I’m excited for a relaxing morning on Sunday!
