Hey hey! It’s Fri-YAY! This week has gone so slow and I am eager for the weekend! We have plans for the boat, Aaron’s starting our cabinets, and I’m hoping to sneak out for a movie date with Emily.
Since it’s Friday, let’s start off the weekend on a positive note with some favorites from this week.
This month was another goodie! Popsugar sent me this to review, in full transparency. I received a stylish hat, perfect for those windy fall days, a lint roller that is collapsible, making it tiny enough to fit in your pocket, lip gloss, hydrating mask, and Gluten Free bites. I’m anxious to give those to my brother’s girlfriend and see what she thinks of them!
Head over here to claim one for yourself! If you use the code SHOP5, you’ll receive $5 off your first Must Have Box!
I remember seeing many photos on Instagram and Facebook showing the fall flavors of Larabars. I could never find them, so imagine my surprise this week when I saw these! The endcap at Target was full of the limited edition flavors. Being they are a bit on the pricier side, I decided to try this one first and it is delicious. I wouldn’t say it tastes like a Snickerdoodle, per say, but it is really good!
Let’s be real- I used my crockpot over the summer, too, but something about fall screams crockpots. I’m anticipating lots of Chili this season! I’ve been trying to make Crockpot meals on Wednesdays when I teach so it’s easy for Aaron and Annabelle to eat. If you have any favorites, let me know!
Is there anything better?
We’ve lived in our house for over 3 years and we have never owned a clock. Besides the clock on the stove and microwave, there wasn’t one to be found. It drove my mom absolutely crazy, but we just didn’t care about finding one. I found this clock at Aldi last week for $9.99 and knew it was exactly what we wanted! It totally pulls the room together and I’m so glad we have it now.
Warm, fuzzy slippers:
Fall weather also screams slippers to me, and all of mine were a bit on the rough side. I wear them all the time during the cooler months, so when I found these for $14 at Walmart, I was intrigued. I passed them up the first time, but had my heart set on them since walking out of the store. A and I went back yesterday so I could claim them as my own. I wore them all day yesterday, even if it was 87 degrees Go buy them! They are the comfiest slippers I’ve owned.
