It’s been quite the busy, and exhausting, weekend over here! Aaron and I began furniture shopping on Friday, hoping it wouldn’t take too long. Boy were we wrong! Seriously, furniture shopping is one of the hardest things, but it also made for a marvelous weekend!
We really went out this weekend for the sales. We were hoping that, with Memorial Day, things would be on a great sale, so we could save some money (who doesn’t want to do that?!). We shopped and shopped Friday night, and Saturday, and Sunday. Each day we came home even more wiped out than the day before. I blame the comfy couches we were forced to sit on, and the amazing beds we laid on constantly. I mean, really, did they not expect us to get tired?!
Friday night had the Pen’s playing, and they won, which meant they won the series. We were hanging out at our friends house for that, and went back over Saturday to hang out some more. Everyone ended up taking it quite easy because of how crazy things got on Friday night, so we headed to Aaron’s earlier than expected and spent some time with his nephew. He is starting to talk even more, and said bubbles for me to blow bubbles! So adorable.
My cousin graduated high school this year, so we had a grad party to attend on Sunday! There was so much delicious food. My uncle smoked pork for 2 days for amazing pulled pork. There was also homemade Mac & Cheese that was to die for. I had seconds, no lie. I count down the days until I have it for Christmas, so to be surprised with it yesterday was unreal!
Both graduating this year!
About 1/5 of the cousins in our family
Coolest uncle around
Bridget and me!
My cousin who graduated was surprised with a video from his younger brother. It was the sweetest video and made me tear up a few times, especially with the sentimental things he wrote in it!
Car service to end our night! Right to the curb
And with that, I’m off to meet this girl who I am pretty darn pumped to catch up with! I’m also hoping to get in a run or just a really good workout today, too! Have a marvelous day! Remember to thank those who are fighting for us, and remember all those who have fought for us <3
