Hey guys! Happy Monday! How are you all? Did you have a good weekend? Ours was great! We were out of the house so much and it felt really nice.
After work and a doctor appointment for A, we went to my Aunt’s house for a Lularue party. If you’re like I was a month ago and didn’t know what this was, it’s a clothing line that is similar to other house parties. My cousin recently became a consultant, and I had never seen the clothing before. She came in from Delaware and had a party for family and friends to check it out. I walked away with this outfit. It’s the Irma shirt (perfect for leggings!) and their one size leggings. The clothing is really soft, and makes me want to buy 10 more pairs of leggings!
We made it home for dinner with Aaron and then the little one went to bed and Aric (my BIL) came over since he just came home from college, and actually left Saturday for Harvard for a summer internship!
I was up early and got in a 5 mile run on the treadmill! We played around in the morning, and headed out to Aldi for our grocery shopping. Aaron went to his parents for a going away party for Aric. I stayed home while the little one slept. We headed back out to Giant Eagle and Target that afternoon, because… Target is less than 5 minutes away and I needed make up. Saturday was miserable and just rained the entire day, which made our trip to Target even more warranted.
Later that night, we went to Emily and Mike’s for dinner. We had pizza, salad, and breadsticks. Delicious!
We took Annabelle to the nursery at church for the first time! She did great and we didn’t even get a phone call saying to pick her up! I was betting on 5 minutes but she made it! She’s never been with anyone but my mom and MIL really, so to stay in a completely foreign place with strangers I’m sure was hard for her!
Aaron stayed back with her while I headed to my friend’s bridal shower. I’ve known Alex for years and years and I’m so excited for the wedding in a couple months!
Our last outing (I told you we were out of the house a lot!) was to my parents to celebrate our birthdays. We were going to get Gyros, but apparently the place closes early on Sunday so we went with subs from a pizza place nearby instead. My parents generously got us a pop up play yard (more for Annabelle… but I wanted it ). It is really nice and I can’t wait to use it in the yard and on the deck! I also made our with a Kate Spade wallet! Woo woo. Somehow, Annabelle got in on the celebrations and Matt and Shelby got her Sperry’s! They are the cutest things I’ve ever seen!
We did celebrate my birthday at home last week and I never got around to sharing! Aaron had the house decorated with signs and balloons for me when I woke up. After we both worked, we opened presents (some Nike flip flops which are super comfortable!) and then Aaron showed me the movie Annabelle made me! Made me cry. We met up with my parents at South Park Clubhouse for dinner and came home to a cookie cake. Fantastic birthday!
And that was our weekend! I also did some food planning and prep which should make this week go by without much work!
