Let’s chat, shall we? It’s been a while since I’ve actually filled you in on my life. I’ve given bits and pieces, but grab a cup of coffee (or tea in my case!) and settle on in.
If we were having coffee today, I would tell you that I am really excited for the holidays and all that it will bring. This will be my first set of holidays not at my parent’s house, so things will be different. Aaron and I have worked hard trying to figure out how to celebrate with all of our loved ones, and think we have it down for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Of course there will still be challenges, and things we might miss, but we are doing our best! Marriage is about compromise, right?
If we were having coffee, I would tell you that I am most excited that Aaron will be here for Thanksgiving. He was supposed to leave either the day before Thanksgiving or the day of for business. However, that got pushed aside due to some errors that need fixed, making me very happy! I didn’t want to celebrate our first holiday being married, alone! haha
If we were having coffee, I would tell you I am loving my runs lately. Except Monday’s. I started running on Monday, with winds of 25 mph and gusts up to 40 mph, and didn’t make it too far. I was almost blown over the hillside, so I retired my run a mile in. Just wasn’t feeling like being blown all over the place. No worries, yesterday’s run made up for it.
If we were having coffee, I’d tell you that I can’t wait to get these darn stitches out today! For some reason, they made me keep them in for 10 days instead of 7 this time. I want to rip my back out! Granted, it will be sore today and tomorrow after having them come out, but it’ll be worth it! (I’m sure you all are tired of hearing me talk about them, too!)
If we were having coffee, I would tell you I’m a sucker for Christmas movies. Lifetime and Hallmark are my best friends this time of year, and I already watched an adorable movie the other night. Aaron was at the Penguin game, so Benny and I snuggled up on the couch, browsed Pinterest, drank some tea, and watched the movie. It was actually a perfect night.
