As I sit here on my back deck, I can’t help but feel completely blessed. I’m not only blessed for the little one in my belly, the house I have, the family and friends I have, but I’m so blessed to live in a country where men have died saving us. Before you begin your day today, take a moment and remember all those who have fought for our country, in any given way, and lost their lives.
I have today off for Memorial Day, and I couldn’t be happier. Sunday night seemed to appear pretty quickly and I was not a fan! However, it was a good weekend, so here are some highlights!
Pizza Hut dinner and 50 Shades of Grey Friday Night.
Yummy breakfast Saturday morning.
Lots of outside time because the weather was beautiful.
Weeding, cutting the grass, and enjoying the 70 degree sunny day on Saturday.
Picking up Niko from daycare and waiting for Matt to pick him up. We took a little walk.
No picture, but cleaning out lots of my clothes that no longer fit. It felt good to just get rid of them and put them away instead of attempting to put them on and when they don’t fit, not feeling so great!
Frisbee in the park Saturday night, followed by Frozen Yogurt.
Boat day on Sunday after church, followed by dinner before Aric leaves for his internship at U Penn.
Also another great thing was baby girl keeps kicking even more! It’s so fun to feel and I already feel like I’ve grown closer to her. A huge surprised was Aaron felt her! He rushes wherever I am when she kicks and tries so hard. I told him it’d be a while, but Saturday night she was pretty active when I laid in bed. He came running in and put his hand on my stomach, and after a few minutes (and multiple kicks he didn’t feel) she kicked harder and he felt it! His eyes lit up when he looked at me and I knew he felt it before I could even say anything. So fun for him to feel it!
See, lots of fun things! Just kept me quite busy I’m hoping going to get a little run in today, or some cardio, and I think head back on the boat for a bit and then our friends are having a cookout! I hope you have a great Memorial Day!
