Good morning everyone! It’s been a while since we’ve had a coffee date (or tea!), so pull up a chair and let’s get to it!
If we were having coffee, I’d tell you…
… somehow it’s the end of February. Where in the world has the time gone?! I swear I was just thinking to myself, wow, it’s February! In other news, this can go.
… I am struggling to get things done after work! I come home and all I want to do is lay on the couch under a blanket. I can’t be the only one, right!? However, I DID manage a run after work yesterday! Then I sat on the couch under a blanket all night. #NoShame
… The Lorna Jane Fit Challenge is going well! I am on week 3. This week, we increased reps to 15 and have 2 sets. Like I’ve mentioned before, it isn’t really enough for a full workout for me. I’m hoping the plans increase, but I typically just tack this on to whatever else is on my schedule for the day. On Mondays and Tuesdays, I incorporate these moves in with my classes. Knocking two birds with one stone 😉 I’m not in this for losing weight or anything, so I couldn’t tell you if I have. I do feel sore after doing the moves, and I love that feeling! There are some different ones and I love it! I also love seeing the community on Facebook. Make sure you join here if you are participating in the challenge!
… That yesterday’s morning workout was a flop. My alarm went off, and my body screamed. Gosh, my workout Tuesday night (yeah, the one I created and taught!), left me dead. I was sore on my drive home! So much cardio, and while I loved that, I also love being able to walk 😉
… This week is going so fast and I love it! I have a bit of a busy next few days. Tonight we have life group, and I’m bringing chips, salsa, and buffalo chicken dip. I’m debating on a dessert. Anyone have a favorite recipe I should make? Tomorrow night I’m having a girl’s night with my mom’s family since it was canceled last week. Saturday Aaron and I are heading out to Robinson for some errands and then (I think) going out to dinner with my family. I’m excited! This will help break up the winter blues, I hope!
… I can’t help but look ahead to the spring and summer. I dream of sitting out on our deck and taking it all in. Last year the majority of our summer was spent building the deck (after it came tumbling down…!) so we couldn’t enjoy the spring weather. I’m ready for it now! We are getting the boat in April and I am counting down the days 🙂
… I’d tell you thank you all for being so kind and wonderful readers. You truly are the best! So now that I’ve rambled on, tell me what’s new with you!
