Happy Sunday, everyone! Hope it’s been a great weekend, so far. We have been having realllyyyy fall like temps.. but more like winter temps. Honestly, it’s been in the 30’s yesterday morning and this morning, and I’m just not ready for it! Keep it in the 50s and climb to the 60s and we’ll be friends, fall.
Sunday: Grilled cheese and Tomato Soup (there’s honestly nothing quite like it on a cold day…)
Tuesday: Taco Salads
Wednesday: Mexican Chicken in the crockpot
Thursday: Leftover Taco meat for Tacos
Friday: Leftover Potato and Buffalo Chicken casserole– (it always makes enough for more than 2 nights. Instead of cutting it down, I just prefer to eat it again!)
Saturday: Broccoli Cheddar soup with Bread (if you have a recipe for this, let me know! I’m on the hunt!)
Sunday: Leftovers/ Pizza/ One of our parents
Fitness for the Week
Well, besides my blister causing major problems at the beginning of the week, it’s been really good on the fitness front!
Sunday: Rest Day
Monday: Upper Body Circuit along with some squats, lunges, etc. to make me sweat some more since I couldn’t run
Tuesday: 5.5 mile run! Along with Sleek and Slender Abs 3x
Friday: 25 Minute easy Elliptical with Arm workout
Saturday: Rest day, but included walking around the Strip District
Sunday: Heading to Church in a bit, then heading out for my 10 mile run. I just can’t do runs in the super cold if I don’t have to. The 35 degree wake up left me unwilling to run, so I’ll head out when it’s more like 50 outside.
What is your ideal temp to run in? High 50s with sun, or mid 60s without.
What temp is too cold for you to run outside in? Below 45. I have exercise induced asthma anyway, which makes running in the cold harder. I think in the dead of winter, 45 feels warm and I will run in it. As of right now, I am not a die hard and will not run out there if I don’t have to in that temp!
