Oh darn.. Just had a post typed up and it deleted!
I hope you are all having a great weekend! We had a spontaneous snowstorm last night! More about that tomorrow My weekend is going great, and I’m off to visit my aunt and help put up her decorations along with my other aunts and cousins. It should be fun!
Our meals this week are pretty sparse. We are trying to use up everything in our freezer. We have some pizza frozen, along with salsa chicken leftovers, Tortilla Soup leftovers, Mexican Chicken leftovers, and more! I’m not even sure we will make it through all of them, but we are going to try. This week is also just a mixed up week, so it’s nice to have those leftovers to just pull out! Hopefully I remember to take them out I might throw in a pasta meal, also! It just depends on where we are (family is coming in), leftovers from Thanksgiving, etc! I’ll still head out to shop for some basic things we are out of, but it’s nice not to need a lot!
Fitness for the week
This past week was actually really great fitness wise. I had fun with the workouts I did, and challenged myself with new ones. I also picked up my running, but only because I was really enjoying it. It’s amazing how great I feel heading out for a run with no time frame in mind, no distance I need to get to, and a run that doesn’t need to be done! I found myself saying I “needed” to get in 5 miles one day, but for what? I had no real reason, so I threw that thought of my head and enjoyed my run even more!
Sunday: 30 minute (3.5 mile) run at the track
Tuesday: Ran 5 miles outside. Pretty cold, but I loved it.
Wednesday: Break the Boredom workout. The time went by really fast and I felt like I had a great workout. I did the inner thighs/glutes part twice!
Thursday: A new workout I will share tomorrow! It left me dripping in sweat so it was a good one.
Friday: 24 Minute Bootcamp from Julie twice. I didn’t break a huge sweat on this one, but I could definitely feel it and loved working so many muscle groups.
Saturday: 4 mile run with Aaron! I mentioned I was heading out for a run, and Aaron decided he wanted to join in the cold. Though we didn’t run together, I was so proud of him every time I saw him. He finished 3.30 miles and said he felt great during it! Hopefully I am convincing him that running isn’t torture and can be enjoyed
Sunday: Rest day by putting up decorations, and tidying up the house!
