Hi everyone! Popping in real quick to share my meal plan this week. Dinner is actually just about ready, and I am starving!!
Monday: Taco Salads- leftover meat from last week.
Tuesday: Chicken and Broccoli Alfredo/ Garlic Bread
Wednesday: Loaded Potato and Buffalo Chicken Casserole/ Green Beans
Thursday: Turkey Ham, Sweet Potatoes, Fruit, Corn
Friday: Slow Cooker Salsa Chicken, Brown Rice, Broccoli (unless I go to a concert, then Aaron is eating leftovers)
Saturday: Leftovers/ Pizza
There you have it! Things might get switched up, as they typically do, haha. I have to admit, if I didn’t do these posts, I probably wouldn’t have meal planned this week, and our dinners would have slacked. I am trying out two new recipes this week, but Aaron and I just came back from the Steeler game, and so I hurried and meal planned and got to the grocery store! I knew I had a post to write, so it made me do it. I’m glad, though, or else I know our meals would have slacked this week!
Fitness for the Week:
Monday: 3 mile run in record timing! Followed by Biceps Triceps, Shoulders (love that workout!)
Tuesday: 4.5 mile run full of monster hills.. definitely wasn’t into it. I did some core later on, but nothing major.
Mile 3 included a lot of walking. The hills were as steep as could be, and I was dying.
I went into public looking like this. The stares were hilarious.
Wednesday: Elliptical switching up speeds, followed by my Legs Tabata
Thursday: 30 minute Tempo run on the treadmill followed by 8 minute abs
Friday: Ended up being a rest day. I was up later than planned Thursday night, and had to sub really early. Immediately after work I left for the concert, so I really didn’t have time. It was ok, though. I know my body appreciated it!
Saturday: 7 mile run! I took it slower this time, but it felt great! I had a great breeze, and lots of shade. I really enjoyed the run, which is all I care about. I came home and did a 35 minute Yoga for runners On Demand show. I am trying to do Yoga more so I can stretch out, and after my run was a perfect time!
Sunday: Today was a rest day!
