Fitness for the Week
I’m still struggling on the fitness front. Not having gym equipment readily available, and no gym equipment leaves me in a dilemma. I don’t like running alone in the dark, nor does my mom or Aaron like me too!, so it’s hard to get my runs in and strength. I’ve been doing it, though! Thanks to some awesome Christmas presents last year (dumbbells, haha) and randomly finding an awesome deal on a kettlebell, I do have basic equipment! When I don’t have time to get to my parent’s, it’s either running or walking for me. I try to plan some days to get to my parent’s, though so I can use the elliptical!
Monday: 3 mile run and Arm workout
Tuesday: 4 mile run and Athena’s core workout
Wednesday: Full Body Circuit
Thursday: 35 minute Tempo run and Leave You Sore Abs
Friday: Chest and Back workout
Saturday: 5 mile run and yoga for runners
Funny story.. On my run, I ended up running with a 5K race. I have no idea it was going on until I was in it! I also ended up almost getting run over. The lady drove right in front of my (and I was half way across the road) and didn’t stop until I yelled, and she was 2 inches from my feet. I was a little stressed after that, but oh well. And, it started raining on my at mile 3, so instead of going past my car and then coming back, I ended at 4.25. I decided it was ok to not finish, due to being wet and I don’t like that!
This week was more of a recovery week from running, and I loved it! I could tell my body needed a week with less mileage, so it was perfect!
