Today starts my 12 day vacation. Woo for teaching! I’m very excited for the holidays, and can’t wait to get started.
Last night I had my friends over for a cookie exchange and a fun night! I had them over a few weeks ago, but we wanted to do something for Christmas. Being that I love cookies, and I had yet to have a cookie exchange, I asked them and they were game for it. There are only 4 of us, but still, more cookies for me! Haha I’ll let you know what kind I get
I’m actually off getting pampered right now! Every year, my Aunt takes the girl cousins to the spa where we get manicures, pedicures, massages, and facials. I am pumped. Unfortunately, Aaron’s pastor passed away last week. He was one of a few pastors at his church, but we actually met with him before our wedding and he was just such a nice guy. He battled aggressive cancer, and lost. So, I will be getting a manicure and pedicure, then skipping out for the funeral (pretty much only getting half a pedicure so it should be fast, haha). Aaron and his family were very close to this pastor, so of course I will be there.
Not to worry, though, the rest of the day will also be fun! We always make a day out of this and go out to eat, do a little shopping, and just hang out! I am excited and can’t wait to recap.
This recipe. Oh my word. These are like my favorite things ever. Aaron claims he is cake balled out because I made them for just about every holiday last year. I claim that’s not possible. These remind me of Ho Ho’s to a point, but I could eat them until they are completely gone.
I love the bite size desserts so I can eat one and not feel like I am in sugar overload, but I can eat more and not feel like I consumed a ton. There’s not a person I have given these to that don’t enjoy them, and I guarantee you will, too.
They are a bit more time consuming, I’ll be honest, but it’s not all work. It’s more letting them freeze, and having a cake bake that takes the most time. Other than that, they aren’t bad! You get a lot out of them, also, so I highly suggest you try them this holiday season. Everyone will be asking how you made them!
*Note- these are different than the kind you make in one of those Cake Ball machines. I do not know how those taste, but I know they will be different than these!
