Hey guys, what’s happening? I’m hanging out kid-less right now! Charlotte is at school – in route to Ballet- and the other two are at school. I am hanging out waiting for my cousin’s mattress to be delivered! They called and said between 20-40 minutes, which meant I couldn’t go to Charlotte’s ballet
I had a bunch of sleepy heads with me this morning! They were definitely dragging from a late night at basketball, and early morning so we could get Charlotte to school! Tonight will definitely be on time!
All three of us managed to get Charlotte to school, but then started stressing! I didn’t make them bring their backpacks or lunch because I figured we would have time. Um, not quite the case. We crossed the bridge, and saw a TON of traffic in the other way. Lots of construction, and streets were gridlocked. We quickly dropped Charlotte off so we could sit in traffic and still get home for the bus! I was definitely going to take them if we missed the bus, or got home a little too late, but we got home at 8:38 and the bus comes at 8:45 Score!
Once the big kids went off to school, I knew I wanted to go for a run along the river. It was still a tad bit chilly, and I happened to remember there was a Columbia Outlet right near the river, which definitely meant I should go! I found a few things that I love.
I’m a huge bargain shopped, so I tend to always find my way to outlets, and this was no different!!
Aaron has been wanting a knitted beanie all winter, and I happened to stumble across this one.
My mom stole my fleece hat this year to take Niko outside in. She has fallen in love with it, and has threatened not to return it to me! Matt also discovered my hat last week, and has even put it on to go out at night with him! I found these two fleece hats, and hope they get my family away from mine!
These black pants feel like they are lined with fleece, but they aren’t. They feel like a warmer yoga pants, and I loved how they fit.
Oh em Gee, these are my favorite pants! I have been looking for pants that fit nicer than sweatpants, but are still super comfy and not tight on me like yoga pants. I found these and they are like a jersey material, and just so comfortable! They were a definite yes!
They most definitely went on as soon as I got home!
This was another awesome find! It feels like a waffle material, but fits nicely, without being big and bulky and making me look huge! Perfect for 50 degree running days!
Wooo! Love it all I completely forgot to check Aaron’s section, so I may be back tomorrow
Next up was my run! The weather had warmed up nicely, and it was the perfect temperature for a run along the river. It was so nice running in an hour that I did not know. I just kept going and enjoying the entire time! I was actually a little nervous because I had a horrible, sharp pain in the ball of my right foot yesterday. I iced it and took ibuprofen before bed, and it seems a lot better today! I wasn’t going to run that far if it did end up hurting, but running on the sand felt great!
I ran both along a path, and along the river in the sand. It was such a beautiful day and a perfect view of downtown! Sometimes the trail led me to the water, so I continued that way, and other times I just made my way through parking lots and also around an amusement park! The new surroundings I saw were just so pretty, and my run was so enjoyable! I’m hoping to get a further run in tomorrow!
Mid run, looking quite attractive
Amusement park that I happened to run through. I am almost positive I wasn’t allowed, but I still went for it!
Weird looking house, if it is even a house. Reminded me of a spaceship/submarine object!
Enjoying my time running in the sand.
This is for my momma! Not only were there trails throughout the woods and on the river, but they had a bike trail, too! She loves bike riding, and would love to ride this one!
Once I got home, I decided to do 100 burpee burnout! My mom saw it on Pinterest, and did it today too (at home, though) and I decided to tackle it for some arm work! It was hard. It was comprised of 10 different ways to do burpees, and each way you complete 10. Some were one arms, supermans, one leg, front kicks, etc. It was nonstop and I really felt the burn!
Alrighty folks, I’m off to make some lunch! Kristy’s friend has Charlotte right now. The mattress men just came and left, so I missed ballet They will be home soon, though, and I think baby dolls is the name of the game with Charlotte
Have a fantastic day, everyone! Don’t forget to get your arms moving with my Bangin’ Arms workout!
Burpees: love them or hate them?
What was your view for your workout today?
