This is one of my favorite blog posts. There are so many positives in our life that, if we take the time to look for them and remember them, we see our great our life really is. It’s easy for one thing to “ruin” your day, but looking for the positive makes you realize your day isn’t ruined unless you let it be!
Thanks to the beautiful Jessie for hosting another Thankful Thursday, and hoping she has a great time visiting family in the states!!
Let’s round up this weeks thankfulness!
I was able to meet up with my friends and celebrate one of their birthdays!
Being able to register for goodies for our wedding! Along with picking up my wedding band and my uncle’s St. Patty’s Day party!
Spending time with Aaron’s family and our nephew!
Relaxing while hanging out with Aaron and watching the Pen’s play (and win!)
The sun came out! I also started getting really excited about my trip, and went shopping for a few necessities (snacks for the flight!) I was also thankful I got a butt kicking workout done before work! Always feel my best when I finished my workout before 6:30am!
Having a 2 hour delay! I also had a terrific run on the treadmill. I woke up very early.. 4:55 to be exact. I didn’t plan to, but I didn’t have a sub job and went to look for one (it’s on the computer) so I looked at my phone. Knowing my alarm was going off in 10 minutes made the possibility of going back to sleep nonexistent. I checked for delays around our area, and there were none so I got up and went to complete my 4 mile run and core.
- I was running while watching The Biggest Loser Makeover, which is, btw, the best show to run to! I also caught up on blogs and the time flew by. By the time I looked, I was at 4 miles and feeling great. I decided to go for 4.5 miles. I kept running, and still felt great, so pushed it to 5. Between miles 3 and 4, I managed to get a job at a school close by, but forgot to even look for more delays. At the end of my run, I was still feeling great, and saw I had a delay so I ended my run at 5 miles and did some core. I also managed to have about an hour nap (which was good because my stomach was in immense pain for some reason). It was quite the exciting morning!
