The Best Places to Eat in Chicago
After arriving, we headed right out to Timothy O’ Toole’s bar.
I enjoyed a delicious buffalo chicken wrap with a side salad. Mmm!
It did it’s job and kept me full!
We placed our order, and were told it’d take about 40 minutes for the pizza to cook. My eyes darted to the dessert for a cookie, also known as a pizookie! Mmm. I decided to order one first while I was waiting for the pizza to cook Our waiter laughed at me, but I think he was a bit jealous, ha.
Eagerly awaiting the pizza!
I ordered the cheese pizza and raved about it. I couldn’t get over how cheesy it was and the crust was the best!
Matt and Aaron shared The Malnati Chicago Classic, complete with sausage, cheese, tomato sauce.
As we arrived at The Navy Pier, I found a Garrett’s popcorn and I had heard I needed to try the Chicago Style popcorn, which was a mix of caramel and cheese popcorn. Delicious.
Saturday night we all split nachos at Margaritaville but forgot to snap a picture. Oops!
It was such a cute shop! We shared a Triple Cinnamon cupcake, with a mini red velvet for Aaron on the side. Apparently dessert before meals was a thing that weekend, ha. I didn’t mind!
Aaron and I met up with Susie for brunch at Yolk! Oh my word this breakfast was amazing. I had an egg skillet with red potatoes, eggs, cheese, bacon, ham, and green onions. I definitely didn’t need to eat it all, but I finished every last bite. Mmm!
Aaron and I went with Susie and her husband, Alex, to Cantina Loredo for dinner. It was a Mexican restaurant. They even made guacamole at the table!
I ordered the steak and chicken fajitas. I’ve never had fajitas that good before. I couldn’t even get through them all, but wish I could have them every day.
Perfect atmosphere complete with a fireplace in the middle of the restaurant.
As the boys were watching the Steeler game, Susie and I went to get some Frozen Yogurt. Cookies ‘n Cream, Cake Batter, and Vanilla topped with brownie bites and cookie dough bites.
Before hitting the road, we went to Wildberry for breakfast. It had rave reviews and lived up to its name.
I chose the cinnamon roll pancakes. Best pancakes I’ve ever eaten! Fluffy and totally tasted like a cinnamon roll.
As you can tell, we ate our way through the city. I definitely think we found the best places to eat in Chicago! None of us ever went hungry, that’s for sure.
