Hi all! I hope your Saturday is treating you marvelously! I have had quite the busy day!
I spent the morning catching up on some blog reading and determining my next Cricut project to attempt! I have seriously been enjoying this Christmas gift wayyyy more than I ever thought!
If you’ve never heard of a Cricut, it is a machine that basically uses different cartridges and it cuts out the designs or letters onto paper. It doesn’t use ink, just a blade and then cuts into paper! There are so many different cartridges you can have. Some are fonts, some are just designs, and some can make tags, boxes, and cards! Pretty awesome.
Here are some things I have made!
I used this as a way to hold all of the pictures we receive at Christmas time! Such a nice way to display all of the beautiful pictures that come my way!
This was something I saw on Pinterest (best website ever!). My family lost my grandma this past year, so to remember her and the loved ones we have previously lost, I made this tile for my aunts and uncles and cousins! This specific one want to my three cousins who lost their father to Melanoma a few years ago. The other ones looked similar, with the wording changed on the bottom.
I believe this was one of my first Cricut projects! My dad is very talented with woodworking, so he cut me out the blocks and I went to work! These required a lot of sanding (including sanding some of my fingers and leaving scars!) but I love how awesome they turned out!
I made this sign for my best friend (and Maid of Honor) for Christmas! I loved it so much that I had to create one for myself also!
My project today took quite a bit of time, but I really have fun making these! It is actually going to be a gift for my cousin who just just had a baby girl! I will be sure to share once I give it to her 😉
I also made my way to SAMs club today. Wahoo! New member right here! I went for hot chocolate, pretzel nuggets, and I found these Cheddar chips that are made from 12 different vegetables! I checked out the stats and then checked out the flavor, and they are really good!
I also made my way to 5 Below. I love that store and
usually always spend more than I should! Today, I bought a few things for my cousins, a new cell phone case (For $5? You can’t beat it!) and 2 St. Patrick’s Day t-shirts.
It’s snowing over here tonight, so I don’t know what my plans will include yet! I’m sure it will be something enjoyable. I’ll report back in the morning 😉
- Have you ever tried these chips, or other ones made from vegetables? Have you liked them?
- Is there a store you go to that you always spend more money than you should?
Have a great night, my friends!
