Hi guys. I missed you guys yesterday! But, life happened and when I remembered on Tuesday night I didn’t have a post, no words were flowing so I took a break.
So I’m 4 days in and feeling much better with the job situation! The kids are adjusting and we are getting into a routine. I am becoming more familiar with the curriculums and feeling way more organized, which makes this Type A girl feel much better. So, hopefully I don’t go missing on you guys too much! I have lots of topics I am eager to talk about.
The End of Fall
Even though it may technically be fall until mid December, our weather has declared that winter has come. We definitely lucked out and haven’t had snow like much of the US, but we did have a dusting on Tuesday morning.
Since Fall is on its way out, I want to revisit my Fall bucket list one more time. It’s going to be time to make a winter bucket list soon!
Fall Bucket List
The green check marks are the new ones!
I am so proud of all we accomplished! I set some lofty goals, though they seem simple, but it was so fun. I really enjoyed the fall weather we had (for a few weeks) so let’s recap!
Yep! We made some pretty awesome ones. I went the cat route, and Aaron went with some scary thing.
Bonfire with S’mores:
Obviously we didn’t do this when it was nice outside, but instead waited until it was in the 20s and had a fire, lol. Aaron enjoyed S’mores while Benson joined us outside. He was soo good! He was mesmerized with the fire, I guess.
Watch Stars under blankets:
It wasn’t under blankets, but I did take in the stars while we were outside with the fire. I have actually found myself paying attention to the stars in the sky more lately, and I’m not sure why! They have just been beautiful. I tried to snap a picture, but it was just a black picture, ha.
Pass Out Halloween Candy:
….to like three kids. What a bummer.
We went out to Gyros once, and out to Red Robin after our race. Both were fantastic dinners.
I found the Tazo Pumpkin Spice tea and enjoyed it so much! I wish I could find some now, but I’m all out.
