Every few weeks, we end up with a freezer full of options, and not enough time to eat it all. Our vegetables are still plentiful from the previous week, and we only need a few staples. I love weeks like this. The grocery bill goes down, the shopping trip is quick, and we still have great options. Here’s a look at this week’s menu by cleaning out the freezer.
Sunday: Cookout at our friends for Memorial Day
Monday: Since we are having our cookout Sunday, we’re going to either get pizzas or make some chicken sandwiches
Wednesday: Dodgeball is over, but we are heading out to our friends so we will eat a light dinner- probably cereal again.
Thursday: Pizza Burgers
Friday: Chicken Wraps
Saturday: Salsa Chicken
This week will also be an easy week of cooking! Love those weeks!
Well, yeah, not much has happened this week. I’ve been trying to still get some workouts in, but resting my knee at the same time. It’s feeling much better, and I’m thinking I will start some more workouts, but save the running for another week or so.
Sunday: 5 mile run
Monday: Body Sculpt class
Tuesday: Rest and Ice
Wednesday: Upper body workout I hope to share next week!
Thursday: 2 yoga workouts. I know, who am I?! My lower back has been hurting, and I’m pretty sure I don’t stretch it enough so I tried two different videos to really stretch, relax, and I felt great after.
Friday: Upper body workout and 20 minutes elliptical
Saturday: Tons of work outside. We had to tear up the grass and get rid of the dirt in order to start our porch. It was a lot of work! I had originally planned on doing some kind of workout, but the day got away from me.
