I can’t believe this is the tenth one, mostly because I can’t believe I have been blogging for 10 weeks! If I haven’t mentioned it lately, thank you for coming back everyday! I love blogging, and have learned so much, and have made friends from it.
Now, onto the good stuff! As I was linking up my pages, I realized I don’t have a lot of treadmill workouts. Time to change that. This week focuses on building up speed, and then dropping it, and repeating! I have been neglecting speed work in my workouts, but feel so much better when I force myself out of my running comfort zone.
I wish I didn’t have to make up treadmill workouts anymore, because that would mean it was nice outside and I wasn’t running on it! Unfortunately, that isn’t the case, and just plain running can get boring. Playing around with the speeds is a great way to make the time fly by.
If you are running outside, just run a little faster where it says to increase. By challenging your body with speed, you will burn more calories, and shock your body. Nothing wrong with that, right?
As always, check with your doctor before beginning any fitness program. I am not a personal trainer, but I enjoy switching up my workouts, and giving new ones a shot.
Are you still running on a treadmill?
Do you switch up speeds and incorporate speed workouts
