How is everyone on this great Tuesday? I have been dreaming of today since Sunday after my race. I was so tired, but knew I had today off for Election day (none of the schools I sub for are working), giving me time to catch up on house things and sleep! I woke up pretty sore yesterday, but after teaching and walking around, I felt much better. In fact, I tackled most of my house cleaning after work instead of waiting for today. I thought for sure a nap would be in order, but sometimes our bodies amaze us!
Enough about me, it’s time for a new workout!
I was in search of something quick- around a half hour, with both strength and a bootcamp style to it. Basically, I wanted a good sweat!
You are going to perform each exercise for 45 seconds, rest for 15 seconds before moving on to the next. Repeat each circuit 3x total before moving on to the next. For an added challenge, complete each for 50 seconds, or 1 minute, limiting rest. Make sure to take a minute break between circuits.
Here are some links to the exercises:
And now for some indulgences…
Head on over to Becky’s blog to find out more!
Once I found my new favorite running tights, I came home ready to order another pair. Lucky for me, they had a 25% off sale, and I found a few new tops I wanted to try. Basically, I wanted tops to be comfy and wear with leggings. I read on Julie’s blog a few weeks ago how she orders tops in “tall” so that they work with leggings. I decided to give it a try, and with free shipping, I had nothing to lose.
This is one of the tops. I ordered the same one but in a dark grey color. I love the collar because it keeps me feeling warm, but not confined like hoodies do sometimes.
Benny also loves it because he plays with the string
On top of those two relaxing hoodies, I did order more of a tight fitting hoodie. I really didn’t want another pink hoodie, but it was on super sale, and the purple and blue were out of my size. It was a bummer, but this pink is different than my others. You can’t really tell, but it’s a brighter pink that I love.
You know what else I love? Thumbholes. Love them! My mom doesn’t understand it, but they are just my favorite.
And, this hoodie comes with a small pocket inside the hoodie pocket that you can store things for more safety. I put my phone in this all the time because it stays put without falling all around. All three of these were Heather approved, and I have received compliments on all of them! Love when that happens, too! It was a perfect way to treat myself to some cute winter apparel, but now it’s back to saving for Christmas! Thanks, Becky, for giving me a reason to buy all this fun stuff!
