An upper body workout with cardio bursts sure to fire up the body and burn those calories. Choose heavier weights and feel the burn.
Happy Tuesday! Happy Hump day! Thankfully this week seems to be going faster than last week. Have you gotten hit with any snow? Hope you all stayed safe, if so.
My Tuesday was actually a good one, minus some weird back pain going on. Have you ever felt like you need to crack your upper back as it is tight? That’s what mine is like and I cannot figure out what I did! Hoping it goes away or a trip to the Chiropractor is in order this morning. But, that’ll all get better, and when it does, I can’t wait to tackle this upper body workout with cardio bursts again! I’ve done it numerous times already, and I was sore after. LOVED that feeling. Instead of mixing up the body part in a circuit, this one targets specific areas to really fatigue those muscles.
Upper Body Workout with Cardio Bursts:
For this workout, you will choose challenging weight and perform three rounds of each set targeting each body part. In between each body part, you will do the cardio burst one time. For example, you will complete 3 rounds of the bicep set, followed by the cardio burst one time, then three rounds of shoulders and cardio burst one time, and three rounds of triceps followed by the cardio burst.
Those burpees, jump squats, and jumping jacks will raise that heart rate up quickly.
Let me know what you think when you complete it! I’m off to our brand new Whole Foods that opened today! Emily and I are tackling the crowds with both kiddos in tow (hers and mine). I have only been to Whole Foods once, so I’m excited to see what all the hype is about!
