Well, hi, everyone! How are you feeling today? I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. What did you do?
Our weekend was busy, and I have a feeling they aren’t slowing down anytime soon!
Friday night we went out to dinner with some of Aaron’s siblings to South Park Clubhouse, where I inhaled my buffalo chicken wrap. I love it! We then came home and when A went to bed, we watched Home Alone. Well, a little over an hour of it and then I woke up later realizing we were both asleep on the couch. Oops! Party animals
Saturday morning we headed off to Home Depot to look at light fixtures (seriously, what a grown up weekend!) before I headed off to Emily’s baby shower! I didn’t take many pictures, at all, and I’m so sad about it because everything was adorable! Super, super cute! Aaron brought Annabelle after she woke up from her nap so she got to enjoy it all, too. The food was a salad bar, pizza, and wings. I mean, can it get better?!
After a little more play time when we got home, A took a nap, I ran on the treadmill, and then we headed over my parents for dinner. We had Shrimp Bisque (so good!) stuffed shells, and some fresh bread. Mmm. We also finished Home Alone once we got home, ha and had pizookies.
Sunday morning started out well. We made it to church and Annabelle went to the nursery. But, then we realized the car was dead and after several failed attempts at jumping it, we got a ride home due to it being wayyy past A’s nap time, and then I was back waiting for car assistance. The rest of the day was a blue; Aaron’s aunt came over, I took family pictures for my BIL, went grocery shopping, edited pictures, went back to pick up our other car, did laundry, and tried to clean up our house. I crashed pretty hard!
This weekend was also demo weekend in our kitchen. Aarons dad came over Friday and they both removed our cabinets and bulkhead in our kitchen, put up new drywall, tape drywall, patch holes, etc. It’s been a dusty house but hopefully things keep going well and move quickly!
