Even before Aaron and I got married, I knew I wanted to do a weekly meal plan. It helps with saving money and making sure food doesn’t go bad. Before I moved in, I did Aaron’s grocery shopping but bought random things that he could cook. However, he rarely did. This means our freezer is full of who knows what! I knew this week needed to include those things so they don’t go bad, and we have room!
As I wrote up my meal plan (I love paper and pencil for everything first!) Aaron commented how we should save my paper so we can have ideas. That’s another reason I wanted to do these meal posts. I don’t typically post on Sundays, but this way I can keep track of what we ate and have ideas to fall back on!
Now that I just talked your ear off, here we go.
Sunday: Steak and Baked potatoes at my parents.
Monday: Turkey ham, Au Gratin Potatoes, Green beans for Aaron and celery for me with hummus.
Tuesday: Tilapia, broccoli, sweet potatoes probably made into fries.
Wednesday: Chicken Stir Fry with mixed veggies and brown rice.
Thursday: Spaghetti, garlic bread, and broccoli.
Friday: leftovers or Brinner (breakfast for dinner)
Saturday: Friends party.
Can you tell I don’t like too many veggies? Haha I told Aaron well be eating broccoli a lot! We include a lot of fruit during the day or just have it on the side, which is why it’s not listed. Believe me, fruit is the easiest food to eat 🙂
What are your meals this week?
Sorry there are no pictures! I’m trying to do it on my phone and I am just not good at it like everyone else seems to be! Haha
