Woo! We graduated Marriage class! Haha
Aaron and I spent 4 nights this past week attending marriage class to be married this summer. We covered multiple topics; finances, faith, spirituality, romance and intimacy, communication. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but it wasn’t bad! Aaron and I felt very connected before even going in, but unfortunately, we didn’t really gain too much. There are definitely things to learn! However, we have lived through challenges in all of our years. We’ve been through the ups and downs. We’ve been there for both of our health challenges. Those things have made us closer and strengthen our relationship everyday.
We learned how vital communication is within a marriage. If you can’t communicate with your partner, you will never work and make it last. Thankfully, Aaron and I do quite well communicating with each other! Sure, we have times when we hold back, or forget to tell someone something, but we always find it out! I only hope every other couple there felt as strong in their relationship as we do.
They had a table all decorated for our dinner! They brought in a catered meal, with beef, chicken (which was marinated in something that was delicious!), noodles, green beans, and some cake for dessert! Bringing in food for us the past week definitely made the nights easier. It helped so much since we didn’t have a lot of time to eat dinner, so this saved us!
And we love each other.
After our meeting, we headed back to Aaron’s house, where his brother had his son! He is 2 and adorable. Between him and Landen yesterday, I had my baby fix! Love babies!
Check back later this afternoon for a recipe AND a workout! Woo!
Question for your day:
What’s your favorite age of children? I think I like them best around 2-3. They can understand things and talk, and become lots more fun!
