A few weeks ago, I shared a day in the life post of what I do while I am working. It includes pretty set meals, and I make sure to eat them. However, there are days, like yesterday, that I am home and it actually becomes harder to eat. Here’s a look at yesterday!
7:30: Rolled out of bed and decided that it wasn’t raining so I should go for my run.
Had a Clif Shot Blok on my way and began my run around 8.
I finished up, dashed in to the grocery store for some things I needed for last nights dinner, and then made it home. I was starving and literally inhaled this breakfast.
2 eggs, piece of cheese, and 2 slices of turkey bacon on an English Muffin.
Shortly after showering and getting ready, I had to head downtown to pick up my DSLR camera. I have had a black spot on it for a few months, and finally had a chance to get it removed. I ate a banana on the way.
I made it home around 11:30, and after a game of chase with Benson, I got started on demonstrating a few more exercises for my YouTube Channel.
Around 1:00, I sat down for lunch. I had a steak fajita. We actually had these the other night, and the meat was leftover. Aaron grilled it up with some fajita seasoning, and I had it on a Flat out bread, with plain Greek yogurt, salsa, cheese, and green onions. It was really delicious.
I had no time to waste and immediately got started baking my heart out with some new recipes. I also had some things to make for dinner last night. After getting everything made, I finally sat down at 4:30 and started this post. I had hopes to share one of the recipes with you all today, but you’ll have to wait until tomorrow. I am running out of time today!
I was pretty hungry, but Benson made himself a home on my lap, after I traumatized him with the vacuum. I didn’t want to wake him, haha. I decided to take some time and read some blogs. Then, I saw how many unread there were and became overwhelmed. Sometimes you can’t do it all!
I finally moved him around 5 and got up for a Cinnamon Applesauce muffins. I make these things weekly they are so good! I also had a cup of tea!
We had life group at our house last night. I decided to go the dinner route instead of just appetizers, so we had hamburgers (forgot to snap a pic), roasted potatoes, and pasta salad. There was also a pumpkin dip, and we had two kinds of cookie cakes for dessert (all three are recipes to come! Stay tuned!).
That pretty much sums up my day in a nutshell. As you can see, it’s very different being home and staying busy and finding time to eat. I know there are days I’m home and eat all the time, but then others I find the day has passed by so fast and I didn’t eat much. Don’t ever worry- I make up for it with after dinner snacks
