There’s a little thing called food that I have been neglecting sharing with you all. I have no good reason, other than I have been busy scarfing it all down before taking pictures. I mean, that’s a good answer, don’t you think? Lucky for you (or not lucky if you don’t like talking about food), today is your day. It may also be “clean out the photos on my phone day” but it still means I can share what I have been eating lately!
I’m linking up with Jenn for some What I ate Wednesday this month action
I eat oatmeal just about everyday. I also always have it topped with cookie butter. I would rather have fruit on the side than in my oatmeal. Call me weird, but that’s me! On the weekends, or after a big workout, I typically eat something larger like eggs with a bagel and turkey bacon. The first one is our Thanksgiving breakfast! Had some cinnamon rolls to make it more festive, haha. I have recently been on a egg and cheese bagel kick, and usually add turkey bacon (darn, just remembered that.. no wonder my sandwich yesterday tasted weird!) to make it taste even more delicious!
Lunches and Snacks:
My lunches are always a variety. I have been snacking on hard boiled eggs recently, but usually remove the yolk. I would rather eat 2 egg whites than the yolk, but sometimes life doesn’t work that way! A few weeks ago I made a big batch of pasta salad and that was our lunch for the week. I usually have leftovers, with fruit, veggies, and sometimes pretzels or something I enjoy eating. Lately it’s been sandwiches, but those are boring
Let’s see, our dinners have been delicious and usually more nutritious than what I take pictures of, ha. First one was a Flatout wrap filled with baked chicken, peppers, onions, romaine, and some cheese, along with hot sauce! It’s one of our favorite meals. We’ve eaten a lot of Acorn squash, and I bake it with some brown sugar for the last few minutes. Really yummy! My cousin told me about it, and it’s the only way I love it. That was also with some Ham-Bar-B-Q, but it was better than it looked (bad lighting, whoops!). I’ve made homemade pizza on the Flatouts, too, and some Salsa Chicken salads, too. Mmm. I may have also really enjoyed my buffalo chicken wrap with fries out at dinner a few weeks ago
So there you have it! Lots of yummy food being consumed. Of course, I had way more than what you see, but pictures don’t always happen. I have eaten dessert, but for a while I was taking things to new levels with how much I was eating, and didn’t feel good. Now, I enjoy a treat but make sure I really want it!
What’s your go to meal? Mine is Hot Dogs, and Mac and Cheese, haha. We actually had that on Monday when I had no desire to cook.
What is your go to food item on a menu? Buffalo chicken anything or pasta.
