Hi everyone! Happy Tuesday. How are you today?
Aaron and I had an entire night to ourselves last night and we went to the Trolley Stop Inn for some appetizers and Happy Hour specials and hit up Home Depot for some paint samples for Annabelle’s new room before coming home and watching Home Alone 2, complete with Hot Chocolate in hand. It was much needed before the craziness ensues soon!
But today I have a workout for you! Last week I woke up a little late and didn’t think I’d fit in a workout. Well, Annabelle kept sleeping so I grabbed the weights I had laying around the bedroom and figured I’d start doing squats. Before I knew it, I made up an entire workout that was killing me. I even managed to keep going when Annabelle woke up (she loved it, ha) and got in the whole workout before work!
So I call this the “When You’re Not Sure What You Want To Do” Full body workout because those days happen. You just don’t know if you want legs or arms or cardio and wala, this works.
I woke up sore the next day…so you know it’s a good one. Each round took about 10 minutes. I was going to break it up into 2 workouts with 2 rounds in the morning and 2 in the afternoon, but I powered through and did 3 rounds in a row which was great. So let’s get to it!
When You’re Not Sure What You Want to Do Full Body Workout
I did use weights for every exercise except the jump lunge- squat- jump lunge one but you don’t need to. I would for upper body but feel free to put them down for lower body.
Most of the exercises are self explanatory (but you can always check here if you need them cleared up!). The only one I want to talk with you about is the jump lunge- squat- jump lunge exercise. Basically you’re going to do jump lunges but with a squat in the middle. So you do R lunge, jump into squat, jump into L lunge, jump into squat, R lunge, and repeat. It really gets your heart rate up and you feel beat after. I counted R lunge, squat, L lunge, squat as 1, so every time I did R lunge I would count it as one rep.
Let me know if you have any questions. This is a great one to fit in since you can customize it and make it as long or short as you need it!
