Stay stylish and organized with this affordable White Elm Boutique diaper bag. The White Elm Boutique diaper bag adds a fashion accessory on to your daily outfit.
Diaper bags are basically your newest fashion accessory when you have a baby. You need one to be functional and cute because it goes everywhere with you. Finding a diaper bag I loved was one of the first things I searched for. In fact, I received the exact one I wanted last year for my birthday (uhm, months before Annabelle was born). I went with the Skip Hop Special Edition Duo and thought for sure this was it.
I used it until December (so a little over two months) and right after Christmas, I went shopping for another one. The Skip Hop just wasn’t big enough for me. I loved the height, but it wasn’t wide enough so I could never find things in it without pulling everything out.
Diaper Bag #2 was the Skip Hop Grand Central. It cost me a pretty penny, but I justified it because I just couldn’t function with the small one and Aaron kept complaining there wasn’t a spot for diapers in said diaper bag. So this one had more pockets and I thought it was perfect. I immediately came home and filled it up. Yess, I thought. I used it for a few months and then it just wasn’t so great anymore. It was too wide and seemed to have too many pockets and even without filling them, it felt huge. But, diaper bags can be pricy so I stuck with.
White Elm Boutique Diaper Bag Review:
Then, White Elm came along. Honestly I had an exact idea of what I wanted in a diaper bag. I obviously needed some pockets, and a place on the outside for the bottles or my water bottle, but then I just wanted a tote. I wanted to throw things in and not worry about it. I was very close to just grabbing a regular bag from Target and rolling with it, but I couldn’t find one with outside pockets. Then White Elm came along and sent me the Arrows weekender tote bag. It’s not clarified as a diaper bag, but I did some review searching and saw plenty of people use it for a diaper bag and it was exactly what I wanted!
You guys. Life changing. It is, oh so cute and fashionable, and is perfect. It’s lightweight, has a strap for a crossbody way to hold it, or two straps to wear it on your shoulders. There are two very deep outside pockets. I actually have stuff at the bottom of them, and fit water bottles and baby bottles on top of that without even poking out! I love that feature! The inside has 4 pockets and then it’s a big open area. It’s a pretty tall bag, which is great for packing a lot in instead of needing a bunch of bags, but can easily be used without stuffing it to the brim. I use the four pockets for things that I know would be hard to just throw in. I keep diapers in one, shoes and headbands in another, my phone and my stuff, and then food pouches or Mum Mum crackers.
Deep side pockets are a must with babies
I’ve been using this bag for the last month or so and people stop and ask me where it’s from all the time, and Emily just bought one for her baby boy due in December. I love that if you don’t fill it up all the way, it doesn’t look like you did. But, you can stuff so much stuff in it! I feel like I don’t carry thatmuch in my diaper bag, but it can get pretty full. It’s exciting to just throw in whatever I need as well and off we go with just one bag and not 2 or 3!
Annabelle’s a fan! She loves climbing up and grabbing things out.
This weekender tote is $44.99 (a STEAL!) and comes in four colors, but I went with gray because I’m both boring and just love a neutral color. The coral/pink really grabbed my attention, but Aaron does carry the diaper bag quite often on dates with Miss A so I didn’t want it to be too girly.
I won’t lie- I pretty much love all the White Elm Boutique diaper bag (s) available and would be happy with every style in my closet How adorable is this bag! It’s actually noted as a diaper bag and I was torn between this and the Arrow Weekender (but I love the option I chose!) .
I will note that as opposed to my other diaper bags, this doesn’t have clips to hook onto my stroller, but I have clips on my stroller to hold the bag so it’s not a big deal. it also doesn’t come with a changing pad, but I have one similar to this JJ Cole one that I use anyway. This is the weekender tote, so I didn’t expect it to have a changing pad or stroller clips, but still wanted to let you know
Next week I’m going to show you exactly what I do keep in my diaper bag! Always gotta plan ahead, but better safe than sorry
If you’re a mom, what diaper bag do you have?
If you aren’t a mom, how many bags do you tote around daily?
Be honest. Don’t make me feel like the only bag lady!
